Value of transperineal ultrasound for measuring cervical length in predicting late pregnancy induced labor
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of transperineal ultrasound for measuring the cervical morphological index of cervical length on predicting full term late pregnancy induced labor. Methods One hundred and thirty late pregnant women needing induced labor were collected. The cervical length was measured by transperineal sonography. The Bishop scoring was performed. The subjects were divided into the group A (induced labor success) and B (induced labor failure) according to the induced labor outcomes. The two groups were analyzed. Results Among 130 cases, the induced labor success was in 94 cases (72.3%, group A) and induced labor failed in 36 cases (27.7%, group B) .The cervical length was (2.2±0.6) cm in the group A and (3.9±0.7) cm in the group B, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05) .The Bishop score was (6.8±0.5) points in the group A and (4.0±0.7) points in the group B, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) .With the cervical length of 3 cm as the cut-off value, the sensitivity for predicting induced labor was 0.90, the specificity was 0.86, the positive predictive value was 0.94, and the negative predictive value was 0.78.Conclusion The transperineal ultrasonography can be used as an examination method for judging the cervical maturity, and making the related prediction on late pregnant induced labor has more superiority compared with the traditional Bishop score.关键词
