Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical significance of heparanase (HPA) in the patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) complicating coronary heart disease (CHD) .Methods Thirty-six patients with DM treated in Qinghai Provincial Traffic Hospital from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017 were selected as the group A, 34 patients with CHD as the group B, 37 cases of DM complicating CHD as the group C, and contemporaneous 34 healthy persons undergoing physical examination in this hospital were selected as the control group.Serum HPA, matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) and serum C reactive protein (CRP) levels were simultaneously measured in the four groups.The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of each index was detected, and the critical value and detection value of HPA, MMP-9 and CRP were judged and compared among the four groups.The blood pressure, blood sugar, blood lipid levels were compared among 4 groups and their correlations with HPA were compared among 4 groups.Results The levels of HPA, MMP-9 and CRP in the group C were significantly higher than those in the control group, group A and B with statistically significant difference (P<0.05) .The areas under ROC curve for HPA, MMP-9 and CRP were 0.966, 0.811 and 0.939 respectively.The inter-group comparison results showed that the area under the curve of HPA was significantly higher than that of MMP-9 and CRP, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) .The levels of SBP, FBG, FINS and TG in the group C were significantly higher than those in the control group, group A and B group, while the level of HDL-C was significantly lower than that of the control group, group A and B, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) .The Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum HPA was positively correlated with FBG and FINS (P<0.05) .Conclusion The change of serum HPA is related to the occurrence and development of DM complicating CHD.The level of serum HPA in the patients with DM complicating CHD is significantly higher, which can be used as a clinical indicator for predicting this kind of disease.关键词
