Synthesis, Structure and Luminescent Property of A 1D Chain Coordination Polymer Constructed by{Cd2}Clusters as SBUs

Abstract
A novel coordination polymer, [Cd (Hbtpca) (Me2-2, 2′-bipy) ]n (1) (H3 btpca=1, 1′, 1″- (benzene-1, 3, 5-triyl) tripiperidine-4-carboxylic acid;Me2-2, 2′-bipy=4, 4′-Dimethyl-2, 2′-bipyridyl), has been synthesized by reaction of Cd (NO3) 2·4 H2 O, H3 btpca, and Me2-2, 2′-bipy under solvothermal synthesis condition.Structural analysis reveals that two adjacent Cd (Ⅱ) ions are bridged by two Hbtpca2-ligands to form a dinuclear{Cd2}cluster as SBU (secondary building unit), which are further linked by Hbtpca2-ligands to yield a 1 Dchain structure.Compound (1) was characterized by elemental analysis, IR (infrared spectroscopy), as well as powder and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.Moreover, the solid-stage photoluminescence properties of (1) have been well investigated.关键词
