Effects of Edaravone Combined with Nimodipine on Inflammatory Factors and Neurological Function in Patients with Hypertensive Intracerebral Hemorrhage
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of edaravone combined with nimodipine on inflammatory factors and neurological function in patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH). Methods One hundred and twenty patients with HICH who were admitted to our hospital from October 2015 to October 2017 were divided into control group and observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with nimodipine, and the observation group was given nimodipine combined with edaravone. Both groups were treated for 30 d. The therapeutic effect was observed in both groups. The levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), neuron-specific enolase Enzyme (NSE) and S100 B protein levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The changes of scores by NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) of the two groups before and after treatment were compared, and adverse reactions were recorded. Results The total effective rate of the observation group and the control group was 91.67% (55/60) and 76.67% (46/60) respectively, and there were significant differences (P<0.05). Compared with those before treatment, the levels of hs-CRP, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8, NSE, S100 B and NIHSS scores were decreased after treatment in both groups, suggesting significant differences (P<0.05). The levels of hs-CRP, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8, NSE, S100 B and NIHSS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and there were significant differences (P<0.05). No serious adverse reactions occurred in either group. Conclusion Edaravone combined with nimodipine can effectively alleviate inflammatory response, reduce nerve cell damage in the brain of patients with HICH, and improve the degree of neurological deficit and the quality of life of those patients.关键词
