Abstract
Pulse compression is realized digitally in actual radar processing system,so there is a certain discrete sampling error when receiving echo signal.The sampling error has a great effect on the pulse compression results of the traditional S-mode nonlinear frequency modulation(NLFM)signal.This effect can be reduced by increasing the sampling rate.However,the increase of the sampling rate means the surge of computation of the correlation operation.In view of this problem,according to the discrete sampling error,this paper presents an S-mode NLFM signal optimization method.Even under the sampling rate of the actual radar system,the optimized S-mode NLFM signal can significantly reduce effect of the sampling error on the pulse compression results,improving the ratio of mainlobe to sidelobe.The simulation results show that this optimization method is effective.关键词
