Influence of Packaging Material and Storage Environment on Cotton Fiber Quality
摘要
Abstract
The packaging material and storage environment that suited for the cotton fibers in inspection agencies were discussed.The change situation of the reflectivity, yellowness and breaking specific strength for cotton fibers in different packaging materials and different storage environment were tested.The study showed that the quality of cotton samples packaged in plastic bag away from light were slightly changed in the period of 12 months storage while the quality of sample packaged in kraft paper was stable.Under the light environment, the bigger change of the quality for samples packaged with transparent plastic bags were found, the second big change of the quality for the samples packaged in black plastic bags while the quality for the samples packaged in kraft paper was stable.It is considered that the cotton samples should choose kraft paper or black plastic bags as the packaging materials.And it should be stored away from the light.关键词
