摘要

Abstract

Cohesive fine sediment flocculation is an unique phenomenon due to its small particle size. The formation and development of flocculation will affect sediment movement, estuary morphology and reservoir deposition. In view of the complexity of the flocculation mechanism, the existing research results still need further improvement and study. The principle, methods, equipments, technologies and results obtained in the study on the flocculation test are systematically summarized and analyzed in this paper. Based on the summaries, the future research directions are proposed in order to further understand of the flocculation experimental study.
