Abstract
China has thousands of years of history in the use of plant dyes. After the advent of synthetic dyes in the west, plant dyes gradually withdrew from the dye market. With the influence of the trend of returning to nature and simplicity, plant printing and dyeing technology, an ancient folk handicraft textile dyeing art, has become popular in China. Natural plant dyes are environmentally friendly, safe, novel and durable, meeting people's aesthetic needs of psychology and physiology. At the same time, it also reflects the new development trend of costume design with traditional technology. It is the combination of modern aesthetic concept and the artistic characteristics of plant printing and dyeing. Modern science and technology are combined with traditional techniques, and the integration of traditional culture and costume design is the new innovation point of costume design.关键词
