Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between hydrogen peroxide decomposition rate and hydrogen peroxide bleaching solution pH value, hydrogen peroxide bleaching solution temperature, hydrogen peroxide bleaching stabilizer concentration, hydrogen peroxide concentration. The relationship between the decomposition rate of hydrogen peroxide and the decomposition products is summarized. The effect of HOO- concentration on bleaching efficiency and performance of bleached cotton cloth is analyzed, and the capillary effect, whiteness and strength loss of bleached cotton cloth are tested. The results show that when the oxygen bleaching solution pH=11, the oxygen bleaching temperature is 90 ℃, the oxygen bleaching stabilizer is 7 g/L, and the hydrogen peroxide is 5 g/L, a suitable hydrogen peroxide decomposition rate curve is obtained. The residual hydrogen peroxide is 10% in oxygen bleaching solution for 1 h, and the wool effect, whiteness, meridional strength loss and zonal strength loss of bleached cotton cloth are 11.0 cm/min, 78.1 cm/min, 5.3% and 5.1% respectively.
