Advances in methods of wetland ecosystem health evaluation
摘要
Abstract
Wetlands are considered as the kidney of the earth.Healthy wetland ecosystem has important influences on the regional and global ecological balance.Thus, reasonable evaluation of wetland ecosystem health has great significances in terms of wetland protection management, planning and treatment.The selection of evaluation methods and construction of index system are key points to evaluate the wetland ecosystem.Based on the brief introduction of the connotation and developing history of evaluation methods of wetland ecosystem health, this paper made a preliminary summary of the common methods of wetland health assessment and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches respectively.Finally, problems existing in processing wetland ecosystem health assessment were discussed.According to these issues, this study proposed the research directions in the future, including establishment of health standards, selection and improvement of comprehensive evaluation methods, correlation between multi-spatial-temporal scale data, and the applications of wetland ecosystem health evaluation.关键词
