Abstract

The experiment was carried out to study the effects of different selenium-enriched fertilizers on growth and development, the weight of fruit and selenium-enriched contents in cucumbers of Jinyou No. 1. The results showed that selenium mineral organic fertilizer could improve the fruit quality and selenium content, and the selenium content in the fruit reached 0.086 3 mg·kg-1.Natural mineral rich selenium fertilner, Zhusun rich selenium fertilizer and sodium selenite had different inhibitory effects on promoting the growth and development of cucumber seedlings. Among them, the selenium content in the fruit with special chelating selenium fertilizer reached 0.168 5 mg·kg-1, but overall growth was not optimal. This experiment served as a steppingstone to explore how to use the Se-enriched fertilizer and how to improve the production of fruit vegetable plants effectively in future.
