Discourse Function of Japanese Non-past Tense
摘要
Abstract
This paper uses the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate the discourse function of Japanese non-past tense in Japanese folktale discourse.First, the number and distribution of Japanese non-past tense sentences in 24 Japanese folktales are quantitatively counted.On this basis, the three discourse functions of Japanese non-past tense markup are summarized:time location function, background interpretation function and table simultaneous function.Finally, the characteristics of discourse narratives are used to explain the reasons why Japanese non-past tense sentences have these discourse functions.Mastering the discourse function of Japanese non-past tense helps to improve the reading and comprehension of Chinese Japanese learners' Japanese discourse.关键词
