A Meta-Analysis of Channel Power, Power Sources and the Exercise of Power
摘要
Abstract
Channel power is one of the most important research areas in the study on channel management.However, there are many differences in the relationship between channel power and related variables in the past empirical studies.More importantly, previous studies neither systematically explored the relationship between channel power, power sources and power exercise, nor unified understanding of these three relationships.Therefore this study, by using Meta analysis method for systematic review and quantitative summary of the existing empirical research, clarify the divergence of the relationship between channel power, power sources, power exercise and the consequences of power exercise, and clear the relationship between channel power, power source s and the exercise of power.Results show that there is a significant positive correlation between coercive power source and the use of coercive power, and between non-coercive power source and the use of non-coercive power.Channel power is negatively correlated with the use of coercive power, while significantly positively correlated with the use of non-coercive power.There is a significant positive correlation between coercive power source and channel power, non-coercive power source and channel power.The use of coercive power will lead to more conflicts, dissatisfaction and less cooperation, while the use of non-coercive power will have the opposite effect on channel behavior.At the same time, it proves that channel power and power source have direct influence on the use of power, but the influence is different.Power source can exert indirect influence on the use of power through channel power.关键词
