论中国科技翻译研究思索期的问题与对策
The Problems Existing in the Reflection Stage of the Study on Chinese Scientific Translation and the Tentative Solutions to the Problems
摘要
Abstract
The study on Chinese scientific translation from the year 2000 up to the present time has entered its reflection stage. The study in this stage has not transcended that of the previous stage, but is seemingly facing a predicament and witnessing such problems as the ever-shrinking publishing space for its researchers, the ever-increasing tendency of repetition, the inappropriate generalized concept of scientific translation, the misuse of concepts between science and technology translation and science translation, as well as the low theoretical research level. Researchers must make unmistakably clear the concepts relevant to scientific translation, promote the level of theoretical research (including the research of translating foreign languages into Chinese and translating Chinese into foreign languages), explore such areas as the research on the translation of Chinese scientific classics into foreign languages on the basis of authoritative translation texts, the research of translation criticism targeting Chinese scientific translation, the chronological study of scientific translation, etc. Only in this way, can the study of scientific translation in China be further developed.关键词
