Abstract
The shortage of talents has become a restricting element for rural revitalization development. The performance of rural revitalization strategy must be preceded by the revitalization of rural talents. It is an important task for rural revitalization strategy as well as a great mission for agricultural universities to cultivate a pool of talents who understand agriculture, love rural areas and the peasants there. It is one of priorities for agricultural universities at the present stage of development to define the connotation of rural talent revitalization, identify the characteristics of rural revitalization talents, and train the rural revitalization talents with concerted efforts. Agricultural universities are expected to institute a positive mechanism for rural talents cultivation, and guarantee the quality and quantity of rural talents for rural revitalization. Local governments should take advantage of various policies to attract and retain rural talents in order to support the modernization of agriculture and rural areas and boost the rural revitalization. A series of practical reform measures have been adopted to deepen the educational reforms of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and explore the new models of cultivating rural talents, all in an effort to meet the talent need of rural revitalization.关键词
