Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of levator palpebral muscle shortening in blepharoptosis and its complications. Methods The clinical data of 87 patients (112 eyes) with blepharoptosis treated in our hospital from December 2015 to April 2018 were analyzed retrospectively. The effect of treatment and the occurrence of postoperative complications were analyzed. Results 112 eyes of 87 patients with blepharoptosis, 99 eyes were corrected (88.39 eyes) , 11 eyes were undercorrected (9.82％) , and 2 eyes were overcorrected. Only eyes (1.79％) ; Follow-up for 6 months, 87 patients with blepharoptosis had no severe complications such as conjunctival fornix prolapse, extropion of eyelid and exposed keratitis. Only 2 patients were infected, all of them were improved after targeted anti-infection treatment. Conclusion The shortening of levator palpebral muscle in blepharoptosis orthodontics can effectively improve the appearance of the eyes, and the operation is safe and beneficial to clinical application.关键词
