Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of vacuum-shielded drainage (VSD) combined with expanded skin grafting in the treatment of patients with difficult wound healing after extensive burns. Methods Eighty patients with refractory wounds infected with large area burns in our hospital were selected and grouped into 40 cases by random number table. The control group was treated with expanded skin grafting, and the observation group was treated with VSD technique in the control group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups, the visual analog scale (VAS) and the complications occurred after the dressing change. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.50％ (37/40) higher than that of the control group (75.00％ (30/40) ). The VAS scores of the first, second and third dressings were observed in the observation group. The control group was low (P ＜ 0.05); the incidence of complications in the observation group was 7.50％ (3/40), which was lower than that of the control group (25.00％ (10/40) ) (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion VSD technique combined with expanded skin grafting is effective in treating patients with refractory wounds after extensive burns. It can reduce the pain during postoperative dressing change and reduce complications.关键词
