Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of extraoral anchorage and micro-titanium implant anchorage on the correction of maxillary protrusion and its effect on chewing function. Methods 92 patients were selected from the patients with maxillary protrusions from May 2016 to March 2018.According to the random number table method, it is divided into A46 cases and B groups of 46 cases.group A uses micro-titanium nail implant anchorage, group B uses extraoral anchorage, The two groups of correction effects and chewing function and aesthetic score were observed. Results There were no significant differences in U1-Y, L1-Y, U6-Y, U1-SN, L1-MP and U1-L1 between the two groups before treatment (P＞ 0.05).After treatment, the above indicators of group A were better than group B (P ＜ 0.05);There was no significant difference in bite force and masticatory efficiency between the two groups before treatment (P＞ 0.05).The bite force and masticatory efficiency of group A were significantly better than those of group B (P ＜ 0.05).The aesthetic score of group A was significantly higher than that of group B (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion The micro-titanium implant anchorage has better correction effect on the maxillary protrusion and better than the traditional extraoral anchorage. It can also improve the chewing function of the patient and obtain satisfactory aesthetic effects, which is worthy of promotion.关键词
