摘要
Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy and the safety of the acupuncture in treatment of acute gout arthritis.Method:A total of 92 patients with acute gouty arthritis in our hospital from March to December 2017 were selected.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, 46 cases in each group. The control group was given Indomethacin Enteric-coated Tablets orally, while observation group was given acupuncture treatment. The blood uric acid (UA), interleukin-8 (IL-8), infrared average temperature, joint activity, degree of swelling, joint function, degree of pain (VAS) scores, curative effect and adverse reactions between two groups were compared.Result:After treatment, the UA, IL-8 levels and infrared mean temperature in two groups were lower than those of before treatment (P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of range of motion, degree of swelling, joint function and degree of pain in two groups were lower than those of before treatment, and observation group were lower than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate was 86.96% in observation group, which was significantly higher than 69.57% in control group (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 2.17% in observation group, which was lower than 23.91% in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment of acute gouty arthritis can significantly reduce UA and inflammatory cytokine levels, and is superior to western medicine in improving joint pain, swelling and joint dysfunction, with high safety.关键词
