Clinical Effect of Saccharomyces Boulardii in the Adjuvant Treatment of Infantile Anorexia and Its Effect on Trace Elements and Braingut Peptide Level

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Saccharomyces boulardii (Bioflor) in the adjuvant treatment of children patients with infantile anorexia and its effect on trace elements and braingut peptide level. Methods Totally 97 children patients with infantile anorexia admitted to Tangshan Fengnan District Hospital from June 2016 to October 2017 were selected and divided into the observation group (48 cases) and the control group (49 cases) by the random number table method. The children in the two groups were corrected bad eating habits. The control group was given Zinc Gluconate Oral Solution, on this basis, the observation group was given Saccharomyces boulardii Sachets. The two groups were treated for 8 weeks. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was91. 67%, which was significantly higher than 75. 51% of the control group (P < 0. 05). The levels of serum zinc, iron, gastrin (GAS), motilin (MTL), and β-endorphin (β-EP) in the two groups were increased, and the increase in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group (P < 0. 05). No significant adverse reaction was found in the two groups during treatment. Conclusion Saccharomyces boulardii is effective and safe in the adjuvant treatment of children patients with infantile anorexia, its mechanism may be through regulating the level of trace elements in the body and the secretion and release of GAS, MTL, β-EP and other brain-gut peptide to promote appetite.关键词
