Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of family participatory nursing on drug compliance and social function recovery in patients with schizophrenia. Methods 72 patients with schizophrenia who were admitted and treated in our hospital from July 2016 to January 2018 were selected and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 36 cases in each group.The control group was given routine antipsychotic drugs, mental health education and nursing while the observation group was given family participatory nursing on the basis of control group.Differences in drug compliance, social function, insight and mental symptoms at admission, 2 months and 4 months after admission of patients in two groups were observed.The social function was assessed by activity of daily living scale (ADL) and personal and social performance scale (PSP).Insight and mental symptoms were assessed by the insight and treatment attitude questionnaire (ITAQ) and brief psychiatric rating scale (BPRS). Results The scores of ADL and BPRS in observation group were lower than those in control group.There were statistically significant differences between the two groups (P < 0.05).The drug compliance, ITAQ score and PSP score in observation group were all higher than those in control group.The comparative difference between the two groups were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Application of family participatory nursing in patients with schizophrenia can effectively improve the social function and drug compliance and promote patients' cooperation in treatment.关键词
