Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the application status and tendency of oral hypoglycemic drugs for outpatients in the First Affiliated Hospital of University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "our hospital"), so as to provide reference for the rational drug application in clinic. METHODS: The information system of our hospital was consulted to collect the drug distribution records of oral hypoglycemic drugs for outpatients during 2015-2017. The defined daily dose system (DDDs) method recommended by the world health organization was used for retrospective statistical analysis. RESULTS: During 2015-2017, the consumption sum of oral hypoglycemic drugs for outpatients of our hospital was 8.510 3 million, 10.370 8 million and 11.015 8 million yuan respectively, which showed a growing trend. In 2016, the consumption sum was 21.86％ higher than that in 2015, and in 2017, the consumption sum was 6.22％ higher than that in 2016. In the past 3 years, Metformin hydrochloride tablets, Acarbose tablets and Gliclazide tablets were ranked as the top 3 drugs in terms of drug frequency. Metformin hydrochloride tablets had the best price advantage among the similar drugs. CONCLUSIONS: The application of oral hypoglycemic drugs for outpatients in our hospital is basically reasonable.关键词
