Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the application status of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) injections in a Grade Ⅲ Level A hospital (hereinafter referred to as "the hospital"), and to probe into the effects of zero-price policy on the use of TCM injections in the hospital since 2017, so as to provide reference for the rational drug application in clinic. METHODS: The application data of TCM injections in the hospital during 2015-2017 were retrospectively analyzed, and the categories, consumption sum, defined daily dose system (DDDs), defined daily cost (DDC), ranking of consumption sum/DDDs, and occurrence of adverse drug reactions were statistically analyzed. RESULTS: After the implementation of zero-price policy, the consumption sum, DDDs and DDC of TCM injections in the hospital were all lower than before. In the past 3 years, the consumption sum of blood circulation, Yiqi Fuzheng and anti-tumor TCM injections took the top 3 places, and the consumption sum of Shenfu injection, Shuxuetong injection and Xiyanping injection had good synchronization with the DDDs. CONCLUSIONS: The zero-price policy of drugs has effects on the application of TCM injections, yet such drugs are still widely used in clinical practice. Therefore, it is necessary for hospitals to strengthen drug management and improve the safety, effectiveness and economy of clinical drugs.关键词
