Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the effects of atorvastatin calcium combined with trimetazidine on cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure. METHODS: Totally 100 patients with chronic heart failure admitted into the Fifth Affiliated (Zhuhai) Hospital of Zunyi Medical College from Mar. 2015 to Mar. 2018 were extracted to be divided into obervation group and control group via the random number table, with 50 cases in each group. Both groups received the routine treatment, and the observation group was additionally treated with atorvastatin calcium combined with trimetazidine. The course of treatment was 6 months. Differences of the 6-min walking test, left ventricular systolic end diameter (LVEDS), left ventricular diastolic end diameter (LVEDD), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and serum N-Terminal B natriuretic peptide propeptide (NT-proBNP) levels before and after treatment were compared between two groups. RESULTS: After treatment for 3 and 6 months, the 6-min walking distance of two groups was significantly higher than that before treatment, and the observation group was significantly longer than the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). After treatment for 3 and 6 months, the LVEDS and LVEDD of two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the LVEF increased significantly, the observation group were significantly better than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment for 3 and 6 months, the serum NT-proBNP levels of two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Atorvastatin combined with trimetazidine can significantly improve the cardiac function of patients with chronic heart failure, and the clinical efficacy is remarkable.关键词
