Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish a method for determining the content of chlorphenamine maleate in Jingan capsule by reverse HPLC. METHODS: The chromatographic column was an Elite Sinochom ODS-BP (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm), the mobile phase was methanol-0.05 mol/L monopotassium phosphate solution (containing 1％ triethylamine and 0.005 mol/L sodium heptanesulfonate), which was adjusted to pH 3.0 with phosphoric acid (V∶V=60∶40), the flow rate was 0.8 ml/min, with the column temperature of 25 ℃ and detection wavelength of 262 nm. RESULTS: The linear relationship of chlorpheniramine maleate in the range of 0-1.287 6 μg was good (r=0.999 99); with the average recovery rate of 98.76％ and RSD=1.22％ (n=90). CONCLUSIONS: This method is simple and reproducible, which can be used for the content determination of chlorpheniramine maleate in Jingan capsule.关键词
