Study on the leakage characteristic of concrete face rockfill dam
摘要
Abstract
Modern concrete faced rockfill dam (CFRD) has been remarkably developed and widely practiced around the world, due to its adequate safety, distinct economic advantages and good foundation adaptability.However, the design and construction of CFRD still rely largely on engineering experience, resulting in frequent occurrence of various engineering problems during service time. In recent years, many CFRDs have experienced serious leakage, which not only affects the normal service and efficiency of the project, but also jeopardize the dam safety. With plenty of practice in detection and treatment of leakage problems in CFRDs around the world, the basic characteristics of leakage in CFRDs are systematically summarized, which could provide practical references for similar projects.关键词
