不同检测方法在PICC导管头端定位中的对比研究
Comparative study of between ECG and X-ray for positioning peripherally inserted central catheter

Abstract
Objective To compare the application efficacy between ECG and X-ray for positioning peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC). Methods Totally 100 malignant tumor patients with PICC were divided into the control group (n = 50) and the observation group (n = 50) according to the sequence of PICC catheterization. In the control group, the X-ray method was used for establishing PICC tip location at first time placement and at time of hospital re-admission. In the observation group, the dual positioning methods with electrocardiogram (ECG) and X-ray were used at first time placement and at time of hospital re-admission. The condition of catheter in place, radiation cumulative dose, waiting time of PICC tip verification at hospital readmission, averaged cost in PICC maintenance and test were compared between two groups. Results There was no significant difference in rate of patients with positive outcomes between two different methods (90. 00％ vs. 94. 00％, P ＞ 0. 05). Patients in the observation group received a lower cumulative dose to radiation, shorter waiting time of PICC tip verification at hospital readmission, lower averaged cost s in PICC maintenance and test compared with those in the control group (P ＜ 0. 01). Conclusion The result of ECG method is consistent with that of X-ray method for positioning PICC. The ECG method can reduce the cumulative dose to radiation, waiting time of verification and cost in PICC maintenance and test.关键词
