摘要

Abstract

Gearbox is one of the components with the highest failure rate of wind turbines, and up to 50 % of the downtime is caused by the premature failure of high-speed shaft bearings. Under variable wind load and internal excitation of the gearbox, the dynamic load of the high speed shaft bearing is increased, which will accelerate the failure of the bearing. In this study, with the conical roller bearing of a 750 kW wind turbine gearbox as an example, its multibody dynamic model is established by using ADAMS. The effects of axial and radial loads on the dynamic characteristics of the conical roller bearing are investigated. The relationship between the dynamic loads and the dynamic contact force is established. The results may provide theoretical bases to selection of the high-speed bearings and the design of gearboxes.
