摘要

Abstract

By analyzing the preparation processes and mesoscopic structure features of the metal wire mesh and metal rubber, and through the corresponding static compression experiment, the influence of several important factors, such as deformation and density, on the compression properties of the metal wire mesh and metal rubber is studied. Then, their carrying capacities and damping properties are analyzed comparatively. Experimental results show that the metal wire mesh and the metal rubber have the same variation tendency of the load-deformation curve with the same nonlinear stiffness properties. However, under the condition of the same size and same density, the carrying capacity of the metal rubber is greater than that of the metal wire mesh. Under the condition of the same deformation, the damping property of the wire rubber is better than that of the metal wire mesh. The conclusion of this study may provide a valuable support for engineering applications in the field of sound and vibration control for metal wire mesh and metal rubber.
