摘要
Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore CT features of the lung in drowning children.MethodsA retrospective analysis was performed. Four cases of drowning male children, aged from 9 months to 3 years, were enrolled in the study. The patients were sent to our institutes for treatment between August 2013 and July 2016. Two radiologists reviewed the CT images of drowning lung of the children combining with the literature. The radiologic features were analyzed.ResultsTwo cases shared ground-glass opacity on CT images, while the other 2 cases shared homogeneous consolidations, with symmetric or asymmetric distribution for the bilateral lungs. Additionally, 2 cases showed interstitial abnormalities shown on CT images.ConclusionsThe CT features of the lung in drowning children characterized by ground-glass opacity and homogeneous consolidations, even though not peculiar for this lesions.关键词
