Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of modified lateral small incision in total hip arthroplasty and its effect on VAS score. Methods 106 patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty at our hospital from January,2017 to June,2018 were randomly selected as study objects, and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,53 for each group. The control group were treated with standard posterolateral approach, and the observation group modified lateral small incision. The surgical indicators, hip function, and pain were compared between the two groups. Results The incision length,Harris score, and VAS score were (8.93±0.46) cm,(91.35±1.06),and (5.68±0.76) in the observation group, which were significantly better than those in the control group (all P < 0.05).There were no statistical differences in the operation time and surgical bleeding volume between these two groups (both P > 0.05).Conclusion Modified lateral small incision can be used in total hip arthroplasty, shorten the surgical incision length, and relieve the pain in some degree, and is beneficial to the recovery of hip function.关键词
