Abstract
Based on the background of pressure sensor applications in high temperature conditions, a fiber-optic Fabry-Perot (F-P) sensor based on zirconia ceramic is proposed and investigated. The sensor is made from a zirconia ceramic cap, LC ceramic ferrule, a standard single mode fiber. The three parts are fixed with adhesive to obtain a diaphragm-based F-P cavity pressure sensor. The packaged sensor is used for pressure testing under a pressure environment device over the range from 0.5~4.0 MPa. Through monitoring the resonant dip at 1543.67 nm in the reflection spectrum, the spectral response curves during boosting and lowering pressure are drawn respectively. After linear fitting, the sensitivity of the sensor can reach 9.5 nm/MPa, which has good linearity.关键词
