Abstract
Traditional cranial-maxillofacial surgical planning and training are lack of haptic feedback, which result in the low efficiency in the process of the surgical modeling and the design of the guide plate. In order to improve the efficiency of preoperative planning and surgical training, a virtual surgical simulation platform using haptic feedback is designed. The system uses the force feedback and the collision detection mechanism. The operator can select and move the model to achieve the precise splicing of the mandible, and the corresponding guide plate can be designed properly. The experimental results show that the platform is efficient in the planning and the design of craniofacial surgery guide plate. The real-time and authenticity of the simulation results are also higher.关键词
