Abstract
Objective To compare the differences in incision healing between Ti-Ni memory alloy tissue anastomat and tissue adhesive produced from enbucrilate in thyroidectomy. Methods According to predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, 120 patients who would undergo thyroidectomy were randomly divided into 2 groups, with group A of tissue adhesive and group B of Ti-Ni memory alloy tissue anastomat. The grade of incision healing was compared and the scar type, scar width and pigmentation degree were evaluated 3 months later. Results All incisions were healed by first intention. Three months later, 105 cases were followed up, and the rate was 87.5％. There was no significant difference between the two groups on the grade of incision healing (P＞ 0.05), while the scar type, scar width and pigmentation degree were significantly different (P ＜ 0.05, respectively) . Conclusions Compared with tissue adhesive, the application of Ni-Ti memory alloy tissue anastomat to intradermal suture in thyroidectomy has cosmetological advantages such as tissue compatibility and a smaller postoperative scar.关键词
