Abstract

To solve various environmental problems caused by the spontaneous combustion of the gangue dump, on the basis of fire area management, the paper proposes the idea of comprehensive treatment of gangue dump with "drilling evaluation, from deep to shallow, from edge to center, high temperature elimination, drilling filling and plugging, loess covering and preventing reburning". The spontaneous combustion fire of the gangue dump is mainly the concealed fire caused by the natural coal left by the gangue. Through the research on Guoshan gangue dump of Gushuyuan Mine, it is found that there is a hidden location of the fire zone in the fire area of Guoshan gangue dump, with many air leakage passages and large re-ignition probability, and detailed detection is proposed for the problems existing in the treatment area. In view of the existing problems in the control area, the new technology of detailedly detecting fire area, analyzing fire area and controlling fire area was proposed. After the comprehensive management of the fire area of Guoshan gangue dump for half a year, the fire in this area was obviously controlled.
