Abstract

To solve the problem of gas control in the broken soft and low permeability coal seam face, this paper used numerical simulation and on-site industrial test method to study the principle of squeezing pressure cracking technology and the applicability of the soft and low permeability coal seam. The numerical simulation shows that the hydraulic tapping pressure relieves the stress of the coal seam, and the coal rock mass around the slot shows different degrees of pressure relief in different orientations centering on the slot. The soft coal seam is broken and no significant stress concentration occurs, which is conducive to coal seam pressure relief. The field test results show that the depth and width of the slotting can reach 850 mm and 43 mm respectively, and the extraction concentration and sizing amount of the squeezing pressure relief hole are increased to 6.7 and 10.1 times of the ordinary drilling hole respectively. The outstanding danger of the body is greatly reduced by about 52.71% . The horizontal grooving hole and the vertical grooving hole are arranged in a phase to ensure the stable maintenance of the main crack.
