Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of Xuesusheng granule on blood index and immune function of lung cancer patients. Meth-ods A total of 124 lung cancer patients treated with chemotherapy between February 2017 and February 2018 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group (62 cases) was treated with granulocyte colony stimulating factor (rhG-CSF) during chemotherapy, while the observa-tion group (62 cases) was added with Xuesusheng granule on the basis of treatment in control group. Compare the levels of white blood cells (WBC), platelet and T cell subsets between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate was 88.7% in observation group and 74.2% in control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the platelet count and white blood cell count in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Compared with before treatment, the T lymphocyte subsets in the two groups were significantly increased after treatment (P<0.05). The CD4+ level and CD4+/CD8+ ratio in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion Combined use of Xuesusheng granule during chemotherapy could better restrain the decline of leukocyte and platelet count, improve the immune function of lung cancer patients. It is worthy of recommendation in clinic.
