Therapeutic Effects in Patients with Stage IIIa Non-small Cell Lung Cancer after Radical Radiotherapy or Radiotherapy Combined with Chemotherapy

Abstract
Objective To analyze the prognosis and influencing factors in patients with stage Ⅲa non -small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) after radical radiotherapy or radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy. Methods 112 patients with stage IIIa NSCLC in our hospital between September 2014 and February 2017 were divided into two groups. 39 cases in the control group were given radical radiotherapy. 73 cases in the observation group were given radical radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy. The thera-peutic effects and influencing factors were compared between the two groups. Results The rate of complete remission (CR) and the overall response rate in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). One-year survival rate, two-year survival rate and five-year survival rate in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). One-year mortality rate, two-year mortality rate and five-year mortality rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). N-grade, radiotherapy and themotherapy were independent prognostic factors af-fecting actual survival rate, recurrence-free survival rate and metastasis-free survival rate. Conclusion The survival, therapeutic effects and prognosis are better in stage IIIa NSCLC patients treated with radical radiotherapy combined with concurrent chemotherapy than those treated with radical radiotherapy alone.关键词
