Design and Implementation of Lunar Landing Orbital Maneuver Strategy at Fixed—time and Fixed—site for Chang’e—4 Lander

Abstract
The landing zone area of Chang’e—4 lander is only 5% of that of Chang’e—3 lander.In order to meet the mission requirements for high—precision landing in the narrow landing zone on the farside of the moon,based on the orbital maneuver strategy of Chang’e—3 single differential corrections,a high—precision fixed—time and fixed—site lunar landing orbital maneuver strategy with dual differential corrections is proposed.The lunar orbit inclination and semimaj or axis as design variables,the nominal orbits of multiple launch windows landing at fixed—time and fixed—site are designed.Next,the out—of—plane correct maneuvers of lunar orbit inserting and correct maneuver are implemented to reduce maneuver error gradually,which solves the problem of high precision landing at fixed—time and fixed—site caused by the reduction of landing area.When the lander reaches the initial point of the powered descent,the predicted longitude error of the landing site is less than 0.1 degree,and the prediction landing time error is less than 1 minute.The result indicates that the orbital maneuver strategy meets the mission requirements.关键词
