Abstract
The nano and flake particle ZSM-5 zeolites were synthesized, respectively, via tuning starting gel Si/Al ratio and adding crystal growth inhibitor. The physicochemical properties of the nano and flake ZSM-5 zeolites with similar Si/A1 ratio were systematically investigated, and their catalytic properties in methanol to propylene (MTP) reaction were evaluated and compared. The results showed that the crystallinity, Al content and Al distribution of both zeolites were similar. However, the external specific surface area and the adsorption capacity of cyclohexane were higher for the nano particle ZSM-5 zeolite, and the length along the b axis of crystal was thinner and the adsorption rate was higher for the flake particle ZSM-5 zeolite. The nano particle ZSM-5 zeolite exhibited longer catalytic lifetime (100h) and higher propylene and butylenes selectivity in MT Preaction.关键词
