Clinical Significance of Combined Detection of Platelet Count and D-dimer Level in Lung Cancer

Abstract
Objective: To study the clinical significance of separate or combined detection of platelet count and D-dimer level in peripheral blood in lung cancer. Methods: Clinical data of 107 previously untreated lung cancer patients and 94 healthy people were collected. The two groups were compared in clinical data, platelet count and D-dimer level. And we cal-culated sensitivity, specificity, Youden index and area under curve ( AUC) of separate or combined detection of platelet count and D-dimer level to determine the clinical significance of platelet count and D-dimer level in lung cancer. Results:Platelet count and D-dimer level were significantly higher in the observation group than those in the control group ( P <0. 05). In the observation group, platelet count and D-dimer level of patients with Ⅲ-Ⅳ stage tumors were significantly higher than those of patients with I-Ⅱ stage tumors ( P < 0. 05). Sensitivity and AUC of combined detection of platelet count and D-dimer level were higher than those of separate de-tection of platelet count and D-dimer level. Conclusion: Separate or combined detection of platelet count and D-dimer level in lung cancer has certain clinical significance in the diagnosis of lung cancer, and the clinical significance of combined de-tection is higher.关键词
