摘要

Abstract

The AC excitation control system of variable speed pumped storage units(VSPSU)based on model predictive control(MPC)was focused on. A rotor-side control system based on MPC was proposed to improve the performance of PI controller. Firstly,the prediction model of VSPSU was presented,and the objective function was defined as the weighted square sum of the prediction error and output control. Then,the vector control system of VSPSU based on stator flux orientation was proposed. For verification,the simulation system of VSPSU with the proposed MPC control system was built in Matlab/Simulink,and the simulation results proves that the proposed controller takes on good static and dynamic performance.
