Construction Equipment State Perception Model and Application Based on Edge Computing

Abstract
With the rapid increasement of the number of intelligent buildings and the improvement of the intelligence, the state-aware of intelligent devices have become one of the key issues related to social public safety. At present, most of the building equipment state-aware systems are based on the server centralized computing architecture which involves the problems of high communication bandwidth, computation and storage pressures. These problems always lead to the lack of real-time perception of building equipment and high network cost. Therefore, this paper proposes a model of state-aware of building equipment based on edge computing. In this paper, it designs an edge state perception, caching algorithm and establishes a set of edge communication and state-aware protocol. An edge privacy data trust and security mechanism is also formed in this paper. At the same time, this paper introduces an intelligent decision technology based on edge data. This model will not only just relieve the computing and storage pressure of the central server but also effectively improve the autonomic state-aware, security and robustness of the entire system. Finally, the model is applied on a maintenance system, which has been applied in S city management.关键词
