摘要

Abstract

With the development of the severe computers,the technology of the server environment data center needs to pro?cess multi-dimensional big data information in an open network environment. Various types of information systems are increasingly demanding workloads in data centers. Based on the idea of mobile computing,the edge computing migrates tasks to the edge of the network to form serveral edge clouds. In this way ,the edge computing solves the shortcomings of current technology of the severe en?virnoment data center in terms of resource consumption,real-time and security. The paper first expounds the basic concepts of edge computing,and then introduces the research status and application scenarios of edge computing at home and abroad. Then the paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges brought by the edge computing to the server environment date center. Finally,the paper af?firms the application trend of the edge computing in the server environment data center.
