Abstract

The development of visual gesture technology has greatly promoted the development of teleoperation technology. As an interactive means of virtual reality technology, visual gesture technology always pursues the immersive feel. This article explores the influence of different mapping methods of gesture target-click task from the perspective of interaction efficiency, then proposes an adaptive mapping method based on speed and direction. In order to verify the effectiveness of the method, the article designs experiments. The results proves that compared with the traditional visual gesture mapping method, this mapping method achieves a 28.6% improvement in task completion speed and an increase of 34.8% in opera-tional stability. The adaptive mapping method obviously improves the interaction efficiency and the stability of the opera-tion, so it can be applied to the interaction of the operator of the teleoperation.
