Functions of Selenoprotein and Its Effects on Animal Immunity
摘要
Abstract
Selenium, one of the essential elements of animals, participates in various life processes via seleno?protein, which plays an antioxidant role and others. A suitable concentration of selenium is vital for maintaining normal cell function. When selenoprotein levels decreased, normal physiological function may be inhibited and even dead. Meanwhile, the cellular immunity, humoral immunity and the balance of type 1 helper T cell／type 2 helper T cell ( Th1／Th2) in animals are also influenced by the level of selenium. In this review, the function of selenoprotein and its effect on immunity were summarized to provide reference for further research.[ Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition, 2019, 31(9) :4008?4015]关键词
