Nutrient Sensing of Mammalian Target of Rapamycin Complex 1 Autophagy Signaling Pathway

Abstract
Autophagy is a dynamic metabolism that transports abnormal proteins and organelles to lysosomal degradation. It is a normal physiological process widely found in mammalian cells. The mammalian target of ra?pamycin complex 1 ( mTORC1) signaling pathway is involved in nutrient metabolism, regulates autophagy, and is closely related to cell metabolism, homeostasis, and disease. mTORC1 is located in the central portion of the signaling pathway. Signaling factors such as adenosine 5′?monophosphate?activated protein kinase ( AMPK) regulate mTORC1 activity upstream of the pathway, and mTORC1 coordinates downstream dysregu?lation of 51?like kinase complex ( ULK1) to regulate autophagy. Changes in intracellular nutrient levels alter the activity status of AMPK, mTORC1 and ULK1, and cross?feed or feedback induce autophagy or maintain stability of the intracellular environment. In this review, we focus on the molecular mechanism of mTORC1 regulation of autophagy in mammalian nutrient signaling pathway, and explore the effects of amino acids, glu?cose and lipid nutrients on autophagy regulation.[ Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition, 2019, 31(10) :4502?4508]关键词
