Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of neutrophil lymphocyte ratio ( NLR) and platelet lymphocyte ratio (PLR) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with acute cerebral infarction. Methods 238 patients with type 2 diabetes were selected as the experimental group. The general clinical data and NLR and PLR levels of the experimental group and the control group,the cerebral infarction group and the non-cerebral infarction group were com-pared. According to whether they had acute cerebral infarction,they were divided into cerebral infarction group (126 cases) and no cerebral infarction group (112 cases). Another 240 healthy people were selected as the control group. According to the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale ( NIHSS) score,the cerebral infarction components were divided into three groups:mild group ( <4 points),moderate group (4~15 points),and severe group ( >15 points),compare NLR and PLR levels between the three groups. The role of NLR and PLR in the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with a-cute cerebral infarction was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) and area under the curve (AUC). Results The levels of NLR and PLR in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P<0. 05). The levels of NLR and PLR in the cerebral infarction group were significantly higher than those in the non-cerebral infarc-tion group (P<0. 05). The NLR and PLR levels in the cerebral infarction group were positively correlated with the level of the NIHSS score. The area under the ROC curve is 0. 646 and 0. 719,respectively,and the sensitivity is 0. 817 and 0. 794, respectively,and the specificities are 0. 509 and 0. 607,respectively. Conclusion NLR and PLR levels are closely related to diabetes with acute cerebral infarction and can be used as a biomarker for diagnosis.关键词
