Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]From the perspective of Altmetrics,this paper studies the concern about Chinese scientific journals on social media,the influencing factors of Altmetrics and the relationship between Altmetrics and traditional journal evaluation indexes,so as to provide reference for the rational use of Altmetrics to evaluate the influence of journals. [Method/Process]Based on the Journal Citation Report (JCR,2017 edition) and Altmetric Explorer platform,with 165 kinds of Chinese scientific journals as the research object,this paper explored the general situation of Altmetrics of the journals and the impact of discipline category,international cooperation level and open source degree on Altmetrics. Besides,the correlation between Altmetrics,impact factors and total citation frequency was studied through correlation analysis. [Result/Conclusion]Among the 17 Altmetrics data collected by the Altmetric Explorer platform,the mentions and coverage of Twitter are both highest,while News,Facebook,Blog and Google+also have high mentions and coverage. The discipline cate-gory,international cooperation level and open source degree of journals all have influence on Altmetrics. Altmetrics has a positively moder-ate or weak correlation with traditional journal evaluation indexes. The high Altmetrics index value of a small number of papers in a journal has an aggregation effect on the overall Altmetrics index value of the journal. The index value of Altmetrics of a journal cannot fully reflect the influence of each paper in the journal. The applicability of the existing Altmetrics index system in the impact evaluation of the journal remains to be discussed.关键词
