Abstract

Quaternary acrylamide copolymers of ASQV series were synthesized by free radical polymerization in aqueous solution with acrylamide(AM),2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid(AMPS),dimethyldodecyl(2-acrylamidoethyl) ammonium bromide(AQ12) and vinyl triethoxysilane(VTEO) as raw materials. The optimal reaction conditions for synthesis were determined by orthogonal experiments. Characterization of synthetic polymers by FTIR,and the solutions properties of the quaternary acrylamide copolymers of ASQV series were investigated. Experimental results show that the optimal reaction conditions for the synthesis of quaternary acrylamide copolymers of ASQV series are as follows:reaction temperature 10 ℃,initiator concentration 0.05%(x),the monomer mass concentration 25%(w),n(AM)∶n(AMPS)∶n(AQ12)∶n(VTEO)=95∶3∶1∶4,and the best pH 7. The quaternary acrylamide copolymers of ASQV series synthesized under these conditions have certain salt tolerance and temperature resistance.
